HOW A PROJECT TAKES SHAPE
Stage 1 – CONCEPT
Step 1 – Knowing each other
All starts with a complementary discovery call through which we will know each other enough to estimate if a possible collaboration will take place. Personality and attitude are key attributes for both parties so compatibility is a must for any collaboration to develop.
Step 2 – Needs and Wants
This step is one of most importance as we start the journey of identifying how one functions on regular basis, what are his personal needs and what are the needs in relation to others present in the space. We engage in intimate information about functionality, likes and comfort.
Step 3 – Contouring a Concept
After getting familiar with the project and the client’s expectations we start in contouring layouts for establishing the optimal flow of mobility within the space, we start to draw the personality of the ambiance through ideas of style, lightning, form, texture and color.
Step 4 – Final Design
When the 2d concept has reached almost full coverage of demands and also a state of trend & style that the creative team feels adequate, we begin to design 3d renderings so that the entire project could be visualized in the form closest to reality.
Step 5 – Budget
The budget will be estimated and with great attention we will do our best to complete the project within its range. The real quote will be presented within an inventory after the demands of price offers from the suppliers can be listed accordingly.
Step 6 – Delivery Deadlines
Deadlines are linked to the teams that will offer their services in successfully completing finishing and utilities designs. Also the longer the time of delivery of products is, the deadlines are offset from previous schedule. After gathering all these information we will set final deadlines.
Stage 2 – TEAMS & SUPPLIERS
Step 1 – Site managers
A site manager and assistance team will be chosen for the entire project. Such department is absolutely needed as an organized system will provide structure and intermediate appointments, will follow the schedule to be fulfilled and offer solutions when more teams are involved. Finding and hiring this team will happen with our assistance at hand.
Step 2 – Finishing teams
The chosen teams best suited for the project will review the technical profile of each segment they belong to so that all offers are complete and according to the design we have created. We have recommendations in the field but we also work with client’s suggestions. Together we will decide which team best suits the project.
Step 3 – Suppliers
The suppliers in the market field will provide the exact products that the design team selected within the concept: finishing décor accents, furnishings and lightning and much more. All offers will be concentrated into 3 estimate of materials: finishing, furniture and decorations. Further we will decide which suppliers are accepted.
Stage 3 – TEHNICAL PROFILE
Step 1 – Utilities and Finishes
The technical team will provide architectural detailing, 2d drawings for electricity, sanitary ware and thermic components, floor plans, design boards and elevations to clearly communicate design concepts for each type of room and space.
Step 2 – Special Finishes
Special finishes will receive detailed attention as proper care will be needed for pieces like hand painted wallpaper, large natural slabs, crystal glass lightning objects, silk wall finishes and many other.
Step 3 – Quality Control
Before engaging in the stage of furniture and décor it is required to have a proper inspection of quality regarding utilities, technical functions and finishing to be marked as high quality interior arrangements.
Stage 4 – Furnishing & Decoration
Step 1 – Furnishing
A schedule will accompany all furniture suppliers in best order so that they do not interfere with each other and the flow of the implementation process runs accordingly.
Step 2 – Decoration
Decorations for windows, for walls and furniture are of most importance and we never oversee this step. Various proposals will be presented to complement the style of the space.
Step 3 – Staging
Staging is like “dressing” a room to show off its best features and help others see its full potential. Not all spaces need this process but the ones that do, we try our best to communicate its essence.
